Pitch Up is a live pitching session at Mansfield Town Film Festival 2025 where selected filmmakers will have 5 minutes each to pitch their next short film idea to a panel of creative professionals and our town’s Mayor.

You’ll be pitching for a chance to win over £500 to support your next production, with the winning filmmaker to be announced live by the Mayor of Mansfield at the Mansfield Film Awards on Sunday evening.

Participants may use a pitch deck or visual slides to accompany their presentation—just be sure to have everything prepared in advance!

Our panel will be looking for originality, feasibility, storytelling potential, and creative spark.
